terms of hire

1. The customer is responsible for the hired equipment from the time of collection / delivery until returned to Top Table Hire.

2. In the event of loss or damage the customer will be charged the actual cost of repair or (in the case of loss or damage beyond repair) the full cost of replacement. These charges are payable on the due date for return of the goods.

3. Top Table Hire accept no responsibility for any loss or injury caused by the use of any of the equipment.

4. All charges are for a minimum of one days hire. Equipment may be collected on the day before the date of hire and must be returned on the day following the date of hire (save where that is a Sunday in which case the equipment must be returned on the Monday immediately following)

5. A minimum deposit of £100.00 or the full amount of the hire (whichever is the greater) will be payable on receipt of order.

6. All prices Subject to V.A.T.

7. 20% Wash charge on all hires.

8. All cancellations must be confirmed in writing. In the event of cancellation, a rebate of hire charges will be allowed on the following table:-

9. Deposits are held against loss or cancellation and will be refunded after return of order and checking less any deductions for repairs and replacement.

10. All orders are due for payment in full on receipt of equipment or invoice.

11. Equipment not returned on the due date for return (see item 4 above) will be charged at twice the daily rate for each addition day.

12. The return of all cartons and packing boxes is important and their loss or damage will be charged at full replacement cost.

13. Any customer wishing to organise their own transport must be fully insured against all loss or damage and must produce evidence of such insurance to Top Table Hire on demand.

14. Payment terms for account customers are strictly 30 days net.

15. Any parking fines/towing out fees etc. due to inadequate provisions made by the organisers of the event for delivery and collections made by top table hire ltd. will be charged to the customer.
